Glass Roots

Hand crafted one of a kind jewelry.

Living in the Northwest is an inspiration in and of itself!  I have a beautiful studio overlooking the Puget Sound and it inspires me to make things of beauty.  I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I do making them.  My pieces are made from either natural stones, found pieces, fused cabs made in my studio or lamp work beads. I use either sterling silver, copper or brass wire to wire wrap them or suspend them from beaded necklaces.

I have been involved with glass for many years.  My passion for it led to various avenues of use.  This includes leaded glass, fused, sandblasted, slumped and lamp work bead making.  My involvement with making jewelry began when I was told I had to be off my foot after foot surgery for 6 weeks.  Out came the kiln and that led to another wonderful avenue in glass...handcrafted and designed jewelry pieces.

"My goal is to make women feel special about themselves with a special piece of jewelry just for them."

When you buy something from an artist, you’re buying more than an object.
You’re buying hundreds of hours of errors and experimentation. You’re buying years of frustations and moments of pure joy. You’re not buying just one thing, you are buying....
a piece of a heart,
a piece of a soul,
a small piece of someone else’s life.
